Our rates are reviewed annually and vary during the seasons, therefore, please use the Online Booking link to get an up-to-date price and real time availability.

Subject to availability, we are happy to let  the cottage for mini-breaks (minimum two nights) in quieter seasons on a pro rata daily rate plus 10%.

The cottage has full oil-fired central heating, with thermostatic radiator valves fitted throughout and is insulated to a very high standard. There are two log burning stoves, one in the living room and one in the kitchen.

The rental includes all heating and electricity costs as well as a basket of logs .  Further supplies can be obtained locally.

Bed linen is provided for weekly lets, but guests are invited to bring their own towels (although these can be provided at extra cost, charged on a per person basis).

For weekly lets we provide a welcome basket of local produce including bread, milk and cheese, and there is always coffee and tea.

Tea towels, cleaning materials, washing up liquid, washing powder, toilet rolls and sanitary disposal bags etc. will be provided. (N.B. the cottage uses a septic tank into which bleach and biological powders must not be introduced).

The cottage is a no-smoking establishment which extends to the garden - no fag ends in the grass!  I speak as an ex-smoker.

We welcome pets (by prior arrangement) but we do expect owners to clear up dog mess in the garden, particularly in the wood chip pit where children play.

We welcome children and will provide a cot and a stair gate if notified in advance, although we do advise you that there are natural hazards in the garden.
